Samson, a German Shepherd

samson-german-shepherd-training-dallasSamson came to Tod for a board and train after two failed group classes and after re-cooperating from elbow dysplasia surgery. I heard about how wonderful Tod was from a woman at a birthday party, but after reading that he used the e-collar, I was afraid to utilize the tool. Samson was very reactive to all dogs: growling, lunging, standing on his hind legs, and pulling. It wasn’t until after he pulled me down to the ground twice to get to a dog that I realized I was more afraid of having to re-home him than of an e-collar. I called Tod.

If you need a Dog Trainer in the Dallas area, contact Tod, he can help!

Tod was indeed wonderful! He took such great care to not overwork Samson due to his dysplasia. He kept me informed and sent us updates via videos while we were on vacation. He taught my boy, who was VERY afraid to get into the back of my SUV, to finally do so! Can you imagine lifting a growing German Shepherd puppy every time?!! Samson’s reactivity to other dogs has lessened dramatically and although we still have some work to do on this, I can honestly say that finding Tod was the best thing to happen to us. I know I can call him with any questions and he is always very understanding and supportive. I remember a conversation with Tod when I was a little stressed that things weren’t exactly ‘perfect’. Tod’s response was, “Do you know of a perfect human?” So true! Thank you, Tod, for sharing your very special gift with all of us. I have learned a lot from you!

Best Wishes!
