Dog Training Services in the Dallas and Fort Worth Metro Area

Thank you for dropping in to visit Redeeming Dogs, my name is Tod McVicker. You are here trying to take your relationship with your dog to the next level, improve communication, and remove dysfunction. You CAN do this, but only if you understand how to work with your dog. If the idea of having your dog trained in my loving home setting appeals to you, or training at your home please read on…

Board & Train

I offer a personalized three week board and train program. Dogs that complete this program cheerfully deliver on and off leash obedience, and come home as well behaved pets. They spend three weeks in a home setting, training with me and spending time playing with the permanent little pack at Redeeming Dogs. You will receive regular video updates and emails detailing your dog’s progress so there won’t be any surprises when the dog comes home. When ready to go home I train you in the methods we use to keep the training in place. If the idea of sending your dog on a three-week vacation that they will love, and then getting a well-behaved dog back, appeals to you then please Contact Us.

Training at Your Home

Many clients choose in-home consultation. During this consultation we will spend time together looking into specific issues and tailoring training to address them. I give you the leadership skills you need to guide your dog (or dogs), and put a big dent in unwanted behaviors. Most owners report a huge improvement in the relationship with their dog after only one consultation. These consultations can address introduction of a new dog into the house, an overview of what your puppy needs to be obedient and happy, or training specific to a particular dog behavior need

Puppy Training

What is going on at your house? The situation may be as simple as having an untrained puppy, a dog with phobias or obsessions, or as serious as a grown dog with aggression problems. I may be your first stop for help….through a web search or by a friend that referred my dog training services. You may have already attended an obedience class, read some books, been to a trainer (or two), and invested a fair amount of money in your beloved pet. You have tried to do the right things – but you still have problems
